I see no problems with the hand... His shoulder is closer to you so his hand should also be 'bigger'. SO there is no issue.

Backgrounds sure brighten up scenes in situations, but in your case, nothing's wrong with it. ^^ It suits Cloud there. What about huge hands/feet? Same goes to Sora and I *heart* him. ^^ I personally think it's an unique style--and yours is definitely worth drooling over!

LOL i hate it when some people don't read the description and point out stuff that's already said in it o_o;; ehehe. Big hands are cool I like big hands and feet. And it's good that his eye goes over his hair, cause we can see those sexeh blue yummy eyyyes >=9!!! and, backgrounds are evil. lol. I'm also one who needs to learn how to draw ACTUAL bg's, but if you think positively, simple backgrounds allow views to pay attention to the foreground eh?
