I think that a green glow might better suit the skin. Try softening the glow, by making it more transparent, and perhaps thicker.

I just made it red for the display picture here. You can change the color to whatever you like. And if you want it thicker, alter the PNG file to whatever thickness you want. Thanks for the comments.
