Just wondering, but why do you have coilovers AND a transverse leaf spring on the frontend?

At first tried a McPherson style frontal suspension, but there was not enough space for the triangular frame support.
I'm not a mechanic or engineer, but I try to figure it out from my humble point of view a good sollution to this issue.
I did some research over the net and found that there is a lot of Rat Rods with a very similar configuration.

Every traditional transverse leaf setup I've seen is either equipped with knee-action friction shocks, or short tube shocks.  The single leaf spring is more than adequate to handle the bumps in the road.  Just sayin'.
