I did this exact same picture, only in pencil, so I know this pose very, very well XDD Hope you don't mind a little critique (nothing mean, just... critique xD).
I better give the nice part first 
Now, the "could be better" part... Your proportions are a bit of here and there. For example, the bed looks a bit like a lump instead of a bed, and you made it much shorter than it actually is. The floor looks a bit flat, and doesn't really look like floor; it could probably be darker where the table's shadow would be.
As for Arwen, her eye is a bit lower than it should be, and her lips seem to be sticking out like she wants to kiss someone. Her hands are a bit flat-looking, and I cannot tell if she is sitting or about to sit. If she were sitting, you'd see more of her back/the dark part of the dress. If she were about to sit, you wouldn't see nearly as much dress on the left side of her sleeve.
However, I love the details you used on her dress, though you could have extended them to the book as well. To make her stand out more, you could make the background a bit lighter, especially the bright red floor.
But seriously, it is very good. Naturally improvements can be made (improvements can always be made

Wow! This is simply fabulous! The colours are beautiful, especialy her hair and the folds of her sleeve. I also like the composition and the way you did the background, lively but simple - it has a sort of cubist look to it. Watch the proportions of her arm, though.
I wish I could do that with colour pencils, it's just too pretty. Here, have a cookie for your awesome job-
