Description I was thought to always focus on the eyes when making a portrait. I don't know if I do it right or not but sometimes I happen to meet ppl that you can't possibly think of focusing on something else. This is a kind man that we met on the street in Srinagar, standing in front of his house drinking Assam tea. I guess he was pretty surprised to see foreigners wonder on the streets of Srinagar in winter time.We were kinda' surprised ourselves too 'cos Kashmir wasn't on our initial travel plans but in the end it turned out to be one of the most amazing places in India.

Thank you... he was a very kind man with a pretty warm expression on his face that reflected the calm and peaceful area where he was living in... Kashmir

I love these kind of portraits! They often evoke more powerful feelings in me than the glamorous/fashion ones. Great work!

amazing details, but the colour isn't attractive. Use the gradient map too to covert it to black and white.

I've always been fascinated by the few reports of kashmir I've heard. Why did your plans change to include it? What else did you see there?

At first we planed to start our India trip from Dharamsala which is a village from a province just below Kashmir .The Dalai Lama lives there and we though that it would be great to start from there and go down slowly . The problem was getting to Dharamsala from New Delhi 'cos the train was pretty slow and the buses too dangerous and incommode. We found out that we could get to Kashmir by plane and then from there to Dharamsala. Since we had nothing planed we stayed in Srinagar for a week and later went to Dharamsala by bus(es)

Thanks my friend, I appreciate the ones it has 'cos favs and comments are always appreciated but I'm more happy with the Views 'cos first I want ppl to see it . I really don't care much about favs or comments... even though I appreciate a lot the ppl give them, I also understand that some ppl really don't have the time to do so
