Materials: Russian sauce pastels, dry pastels, sepia, chalk, black pencil, black ink, white acrylic paint on pre-toned paper, 30x40 cm.

Well it looks like this painting takes place in a environment of twenty-eight to thirty-six degree weather due the big uniced hole in the center of the pond without any animal or human intervention.

The below-zero came suddenly. On December 29th it was +14 C, and the next day it was frosty and cold. Besides, the pond was filled with water coming from a few unfreezing underground streams.
