Taffi was always pretty cautious but he had such a great & calm temperament. There would be moments when he would freeze up like a stone. But overall, when he was beside me, he was good as gold.

My two piggies right now are very skittish boys. But I find they are better when I put out their wooden house for them to hide in. The only thing they do when outside is eat. My piggies never care for adventure.. I also have them in a small playpen with a cover to ensure maximum protection. To be completely honest, I would never trust my current two to be out in the open. Not even with me right beside them. I almost lost my Bobbi COUNTLESS times when he was smaller.. >.< He freaks out and bolts into whatever bush/hiding area he can find. Omg.. thinking about that makes my heart pound! So conclusion, my current two don't trust me at all and I keep them in a safe secluded area so that they can graze. My previous special piggies trusted me with their lives and felt perfectly happy & safe right beside me. It all depends on the individuals. I also find they do better when they are with each other.

I honestly believe it's completely normal for a piggy to freak out when in the wilderness. They are prey animals after all! Just give them hiding places. That should help a touch!

No probz!

I have A guinea pig (I have pics of her on here). My mom wasn't too keen on the idea of me having a guinea pig because the only pets my sister and I had up to that point were fish, 2 hamsters, and a turtle, but we really only cared for one of the hamsters and not very much (the turtle was my sister's so that was all her). But we got the hamster when we were like 7 and 9 and I got my guinea pig exactly three months before my Sweet 16.

The funny thing is we went out to get some Italian food and after we ate we went across the street to Petco. My parents and sister went to find food for the turtle and I tried to nonchalantly walk over to the guinea pigs. I looked at them for awhile and notice a particular female guinea pig. I ran through the store and drug my mom back to show her this guinea pig. She knew I wanted the guinea pig and so we got her.

Then she was a hit at my Sweet 16. Everyone thought she was adorable and some even commented that she looked calico.

Yeah, she's my baby. She turned 4 last month and my family had a little party because she'd been sick for awhile and we thought we were gonna lose her.

Oh, Taffi.. how much I miss my baby boy! He really loved grass.. he loved just about everything. There is no piggy like him.

My mom came up with it because of his colour. It was between Toffee or Coffee, but out of the blue my mom said Taffi.
