Description this spawned from a "scan-o-gram" project for my electronic media class. we placed objects on 8x11 scanner beds; i brought along my baby alligator head and some cloth flowers, and when i got back to my dorm i tried out some body scans of my hands and face (on my own scanner) and decided to experiment with them. this is one of the outcomes; a combination of two scans with a few color adjustments.

i've done things like this before, but not as legitimate art pieces. i'll probably try some more when i have time. i love the depth and bizarre quality the scanner gives to objects and body parts.

The coloring and placement of everything is just perfect! I love that the objects have different patterns and textures, it makes all of the separate pieces come together in a way.

Wow, this is so bizarre. Definitely eye grabbing, I was almost "sucked" by it, my thoughts were "oh what's this! um and this!...", it is definitely great art in the way it's thought provoking and reaction inducing. Hat's at its lowest. Great job!

this is really unique, not to mention wonderfully erie. I've never heard of this process before but it seems to really work for you. I think you could push this a lot further and personalize it. I can already see your voice in the piece but I think you should keep experimenting with it. Overall this is a really strong and fresh piece. Nice work!
