Description Commission for featuring her character.

The theme was culture shock: rainforest. I had fun with this piece because it was challenging. I tried to see how much different types of green I could derive out of the 4 green color pencils that I had, and it turned out that I manage to 10+ different greens. Can you spot all the different variations in this picture?

Anyhow, character belongs to

Wow! I don't remember ever seeing any anthros from you before. You have a great way of drawing animals - I like how realistic the face is. Awesome job on the rainforest... I salute your patience in doing all those details. This really looks like a polished piece.

I did look at some snow leopard references to see how they are drawn

Wow, I love this! Everything about it!

The coloration is magnificent. The skillful shading and purposeful pencil stroke texture is very appealing and well done. I'm impressed by the amount of greens you have derived from so few green pencils, especially the ones where you've noticeably mixed in a non-green, such as in the mossy growths along the edge of the water. I encourage you, in the future, to be similarly bold when mixing elsewhere, as the character would look more realistically immersed in the scenery if her fur was reflecting some brown or green. As it is, though, she sticks out nicely from the jungle foliage, enhancing the out-of-place theme of the snow leopard in such a locale and helping attract a viewer's attention to her. I love the power and confidence in her pose as she grips the spear. Her accessories are great, spicing up her appearance without being overdone. I especially like the ring embellishing her loincloth. I also like her anatomy in that she looks healthy and natural, fit and not too thin. It's easy to imagine well-trained muscle under that fur.

Basically, I'm blabbering on trying to say that I think this is awesome. Must fav! Great job!

Thank you so much for your compliment! I am so flattered *_* In the end, I mixed non-green and am happy with the results
