Sometime I want to try something new. Now is such a time. I'd like to start a series of animated landscapes that remain under 40k and see what kind of atmonspheres I can create with such simple tools. So this is my first try 100px landscapes no1. Moving that sky frame for frame was a bit tricky... I liked to have it move slower in relation the bridge and aircrafts but then I exceeded the 40k limit eh?Well, tell me what you think, as I might make some more.

I notice you never came back to this idea... it's been almost 3 years.
It reminds me a bit of a music box; how it's a simple representation of something. I can imagine hardcore nerds making MIDI and LCD music boxes with these graphics displayed on them. 
You could slow down the clouds by lowering the framerate and "skipping a few frames" for the things you don't want slowing down. although it looks like you already did that with the train. it's so fast you can't really tell which way it's going.

Amazing...
I noticed the background and foreground are moving, but not the towers. Did you use a program with seperate layers to do this? Thats probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering.
I loive the details you went into the background, it makes this picture look awesome! And the colors are wonderful! But I hope you use more colors then just several shades of one, if you get what I mean! ^_^ Maybe you should mountains or something like that?

I use seperate layers in Adobe Imageready I can move seperately.
As for the limited colour usage... I had no more room for more colours with this complicated animation and stay under the 40k... the size limit of many sites and forums.
And mountains... yes, we have to do one with mountains won't we?
