A closeup shot from a commission I recently finished for a member here on deviant.This was the first time I ever tried to paint a black panther and I must say that was quite a challenge! Figuring out a pose alone that would be fitting to the described character's personality was difficult enough but figuring out natural lighting for an image I had no reference for was painstaking BUT rewarding. I always enjoy a challenege because it pushes me to try something out of my norm and especially if it is a commission I will struggle and fight until I get it right or as close to right as I am capable of doing!
And yes she has blue eyes
