That's just amazing how you turned Shadow's reference picture into something so detailed. I was never good at drawing or creating mechs, that's why I don't draw my own mech characters much. They are so unloved XD
That 'nose,' I really like how you did it without it looking too much like a human's. And the colors! The copperish color around the eyes stands out from the duller and darker greens, teals and blacks. And the shine of the metals.
I really don't know what to say, all your work is just awesome.

I find mechs hard to do too. The trick I find is to do heaps of possible designs for the character then select the features you like and merge, if you spend ages trying to perfect one design it never looks as good.

I have only a few drawings of them in my gallery. Most are more of a cartoony non-classic or non-realistic style. That's most easy for me.
Yes, I've tried that. I liked how Optimus' feet looked and put them in my helicopter character's design.

well I got to cheat with ScarlingR's and shadowtoxin's cause they had already designed an awesome character, I just added some detail. With the others I start with their G1 faces and then just gradually add detail. I can put up one of character sheets if you want.

Hello! You recommended Adonihs, and he has two tutorials in his gallery - did you mean those two? Or did he have others that he has since taken down? Since it looks like he has removed several pieces from his gallery...
But I would love it if you made a tutorial! I can't find anything about how to design 2K7-style transformer faces, and I know nothing about machines, so I would hop all over yours if you did one!
