Description
I Wanted to draw a hardened representation of Samus (From Metroid by Nintendo, Character created by Makoto Kano), being that when she gets hurt she can still have a smirk on her face. I also didn’t want to make her overly sexual like many representations of her tend to do, though that’s a hard one because of the nature of her outfit but overall I am happy with this one and I hope whoever sees enjoys it too.To anybody who is interested I have an inprnt store which you can find here- www.inprnt.com/gallery/ballson…

I love drawing the strong bounty hunter that is Samus, she is one of my favourite characters so I will definitely be drawing her again, in-fact I might just go ahead and draw her again right now!

The thought process going in was that her gun was taken away from her and that
she was going into this battle hand to hand although it wasn't exactly hand to hand as her opponent had knives...
In my head I had her fighting this person until she would eventually take the knives away from them and finally kill them.
A little dark for metroid but that was my thought process. I was originally going to add her opponent but that would have been more like a comic strip instead of an illustration...
So this was the result in the end, I just thought the red background acting as the blood on the darker shade of red
was a striking effect which is why there is so much blood. Thanks for asking that by the way!
