Description
The lion has no name as he is quite random but the sable antelope is named Vincent now after a suggestion from greldon greldon. I think it's a fitting name!
I like him a lot and you will defenitely see more of him in the future, I guess. ^^Polychromos colored pencils on Bristol paper in 13x18cm format. Background is watercolor blotches.

Ich mag das Bild sehr, weil es die etwas... gefΓ€hrliche Anziehung zwischen einem Pairing dieser Art gut rΓΌberbringt ^^. Ich finde das Thema wird auf vielen Bildern, die ein JΓ€ger/Beute-Pairing zeigen, einfach viel zu selten umgesetzt.
Zugegeben, ich bin kein groΓer Fan von Verpaarungen innerhalb verschiedenener Anthro-Spezies, besonders wenn es sich um Predator/Beute-Pairings handelt. Ich denke immer, auch wenn sie "vermenschlicht" sind, wΓΌrde z.B. der LΓΆwe die Antilope immer noch fressen, wenn er die Gelegenheit hΓ€tte. Deshalb finde ich das Bild hier so spitze, denn es zeigt dass, auch wenn die beiden Lover sind, die Antilope, also Vincent, aber immer noch gefΓ€hrlich lebt, weil man nie weiΓ was passiert, wenn der LΓΆwe eines Tages doch noch "Blut lecken" sollte.
"Serious affection" eben, wie der Titel schon sagt. Find ich toll <3.

I would think that a creature which evolved with fur like these would have never developed clothes -- they would be of little benefit. I think they'd probably have some sort of pack or belt for holding items though, which would be the one remaining useful feature of clothes.
