I like this image - although you could imagine that instead of two friends walking towards you, they could be two people you don't want to see waiting for you...

You certainly could, but this time I knew who was coming towards me. There are actually 3 people, the third is hard to see but he's there.

And here I was thinking there was one skinny person and one stocky person!

And you would be right. There is one tall, skinny woman, a short stocky man and an average sized, maybe a little thick in the middle, man. The latter is blocked out by the short stock man.
