Felt a bit down, this lovely song from Snow White came on, and I downright burst into tears! I did this quick little therapy sketch. haha I'm okay, I'm just such a hopeless romantic... and waiting is the hardest part...

I'm a hopeless romantic as well <3. I love this song and I love everything about this drawing. It is a very romantic image. I've been trying to find an image on dA of a medieval maiden with dark hair, and there aren't very many! This is certainly one of the best.

First off, you don't have to worry about your prince. He's coming, and you'll only find a better guy by waiting.
Second this is a lovely picture. I love the brick work, and the folds in the dress. I actually really like the sort of imperfect look to the shading, it adds to the idea of depression. Awesome job
Oh by the way, in sobczac's class we were going through senior portfolios and he flipped out and exclaimed "oh my gosh you have to see this portfolio. She was such an amazing artist and there's this one picture that looks like a photograph." So he opened up your portfolio and everyone started gawking at your artwork

I really like the detail in the folds of her dress. The stone wall is wonderful too, I'd never have the patience for that.
