Well this took a while, here are the boring reasons.


I decided to implement some of the stuff I use for my personal work into my free models so you will see new things in this one like:

A new skin with abs an some muscles, then I decided to make my own node group to use all with speculars and normals, also added a color "outline" and another outline that reacts to the environment.

(The render on the left was taken with an hdri image, the one on the right with the usual withe background)

I did something similar to the clothes but in a minor scale.

I also changed the skeleton to use bendy bones and implemented some simple breast physics.

Some other things that I don't remember.


You can expect these modifications in my future projects too, since I already did the hard work.

IMPORTANT NOTE: FROM NOW ON YOU NEED TO USE BLENDER 2.79 OR NEWER TO USE MY MODELS

The fact that this exists is just amazing, and the model itself is just incredibly accurate and beautifully refined. To see such care and effort put into something for a rather esoteric yet awesome character is something I can't help but respect. Excellent work!

Huh ?Β  The Textures are "in" the .blend file ?
Ok, thats new.

How do i get the Textures exported ?

Ahhhh, found it !!

File -> External Data -> Unpack All Into Files

Arghh, to bad.
Not realy useable outside of Blender.
The Textures are oddly combined in the nodesystem. And outside of blender the UV coordinates of some Textures get ugly.
Also it is a non destructive workflow. So the Shapekeys are not added after an applied Subsurf.
So on Export, the modifiers get applied and the shapekeys get removed.

To answer some of your questions:

-High Poly Count like most of my models (You can decimate the hair to reduce it a lot BTW)

-Pack textures is the standard in blender when you want to share a file.

-Multiple UV's on a material as I use that mat in a lot of places and it allow me to do detailed faces (and other places) as layers in Photoshop for example.

A thing you can do to export this is to just create or use the main UV to bake the material in a single texture. This is what I do to import my models in Unreal Engine.

-And the shapes are in the un-subdivided model as i don't like to apply the subdivision just in case.


Blender is my tool of choice so I like to use all the tools that it offers
