This finding actually does changes some things, because while scientists already knew that Spinosaurus spend a lot of time in the water, they didn't know if it could produce the kind of propulsion necessary to move such a large animal through the water. But now that they actually have some intact tail bones they can accurately model how it swum. This proves that rather than simply standing in the water waiting for a fish to pass by, Spinosaurus was capable of actively chasing down swimming prey.

I'm not surprised that Spinosaurus swims, have any of you seen Jurassic Park 3?

would just make sense that a creature that spends so much time near water would have means of moving through said water. swimming is the most logical here.

is it possible that Spinosaurus did spent a couple of times on land similar to when a whale or seal was chasing it's prey on shore?

this is where and why I imagine Spinosaurus replacing the Brontosaurus in the 1933 King Kong because the inaccurate behavior of the 1933 brontosaurus is totally how I imagine it was an accurate behavior for Spinosaurus since we are now more convinced that it was a semi aquatic
