Very colorful and creative. It has some great storytelling to it

Very nice use of light and colour. Immediately the bright sunlight that streams on the entire scene appears distinctly relaxing.
The warm colour used for the lighting reinforces this effect, also greatly heightened by the rather high-contrast relationship with the shadow and the wide coverage the light has on the image.
I feel as if that warm, open and very much broad sunlight really sets the atmosphere for the scene, particularly considering how open the majority of the scene is.
The contrast between the structure in the immediate foreground also highlights the intricate details, as with the rest of the piece, sharpening the look and adding quite the profound feel to the overall image.
The effect and feature of motion also adds to the technical stature of the piece, the waving flags, yawning figure and wispy clouds creating a rather subtle, lively feel to the calm atmosphere.
The awakening feel of the town is conveyed very effectively through this sense of motion, and that sense of presence is very engaging. In fact, I'd say that that liveliness portrayed is one of the more distinct features of the image that truly makes the atmosphere work.
The character's posture works very well in combination with the light source; it is almost as if he and the surrounding buildings seem to be bathing in the warm sunlight, facing towards it in a relaxed manner. This effect further enhances the lazy, relaxed feel of the image, drawing attention to the light source and to the atmosphere in general.
However, I must say that although the structures to the left do add a lot of detail and dynamic to the piece, I feel as if they obscure the light source far too much. I'm looking for the focal point, that intriguing epicentre of the image, and I feel as if the figure and scenery themselves are not enough. Without the left structure and instead with a broader landscape and a clearer view of the light source, I feel as if both the already fantastic light and the overall image would be enhanced.
But that's just my opinion, Overall, fantastic use of colour and light, again, wonderful capture of that toasty, calm atmosphere of indeed a lazy morning, with a beautiful sense of liveliness to the piece.
