Spending half the year getting re-aquianted with oils resulted in this, a 16"x20" painting I did for my mom's birthday. Kind of holiday colors, too, with the red and green. I'm loving working with a semi-limited palette, and the textures in this one were so much fun, all that chunky lichen on the branches. Looking forward to more paintings in the new year!
