Seagulls, January 2009. Villas, NJ, USA.These three birds of a feather were posing very nicely for me, so I couldn't refuse. The water in the background is actually the Delaware Bay; Villas is located pretty close to the southernmost tip of the NJ peninsula. In the spring and summer, horseshoe crabs by the thousands invade the shore there, but in the winter, it's the seagulls who watch over the Bay until the crabs' return.
Who am I kidding. The skyrats rule the place all year long.

*laughs* Thanks, wolfy. The particular beach the house is on is very peaceful, even in the summer. Even though I'm definitely not a summertime beachgoer type person, it's a beautiful place and it's very comforting to be there. Plus it's not a generally public-accessible beach. ^^
