I did this for [link] 's contest. The objects I incorporated were-cat
-wings
-clocks
-webs
Suprisingly, I actually like it. Strange, eh? I like something that I made. Doesn't happen too often.
Photoshop CS2--this took me less time than I thought it would. It took about 5 hours total.
...and don't foget to full view to see every detail
The smaller image doesn't really do it justice. CONTEST OVER...I DIDN'T EVEN PLACE IN THE TOP 10!!! MY LIFE IS CURSED!

It astounds me that you didn't at least place in the top ten for this. Whoever judged that contest is retarded lol...I went and looked at all the winners...and some of them definitely didn't deserve it lol... >_< I love the sadness, the spider webs, the chain of clochs, the style of the mirror...all gorgeous.

I use a tablet. I always finish in about 5 hours or less. haha I don't have the patience to do the same thing for longer.

The process is slow like hell!
Maybe I gotta buy a new tablet to fasten it up...

Yeah, I used to use a mouse, but it was so hard to get it to look right. My tablet was pretty cheap, but it works good enough for me. The one I REALLY want (but will never be able to afford) is almost $3000.

Awesome! Especially shading and stuff, not to mention the adorable girl.
The only flaws I can see is somewhat flat look of her hair viewed from the back (the mirror image is fine, though) and the rather sketchy and unfinished look of the webs.
