Description The painting is about 2 inches wide. Hopefully the things around it will help you get a visual on that. If I showed only the painting itself, since it would get expanded way past its real size, it looked more splotchy/blurry than it really is.

I looooove teeny-tiny paintings! And double the points for the fact that it's an autumn scene! Fantastic work, I love how two edges are a rounded-out square, and the other two edges have the tree "coming out" of the box! 

And a random extra point, but your signature is really pretty!

haha Thank you so much!! It was fun to work on something this size (even though I normally work small, this was small even for me ) Ah! Glad you liked that bit with the framing! I love things that break out of the frame, though normally I'm like "What do I do with the outside?" but here it was easy enough; the sketchbook provided the "external framing" of sorts, to contain the irregular outline of the painting itself.

You're welcome! Someday when I have a little more room in my apartment to work, I'd love to get back into traditional painting, and tiny scenes like this would be so fun to work on! It's so inspiring to see other paintings like this

I guess I have no reason to not use my mini watercolor journal. Mini paintings can look as good as full sized ones as well (though I'm not at all as skilled at watercolors as you are).

Yes! You should use it! Small paintings look awesome, too! I've seen them framed inside large frames / with super wide matting, and they look great!

Thank you so much! I thought it would be handy, to show the relative size of the painting, and also good practice for me since I also do photography and one of my goals last year was to improve the composition on still life photos.

hehe me alegra que también tú lo consideres así (que se ve bien así solito a media página)
Los troncos fueron tanto divertidos como medio desesperantes No por los detalles, sino porque los tuve que hacer más oscuros después de haberle agregado ya las rayitas y se me despintaban Todavía me quedé con la idea de que les quería hacer unos detalles en blanco-blanco, con acrílico, pero hubiera tenido que ser a los que están más cerca de uno, y pensé que el blanco iba a contrastar demasiado, así es que los dejé así, sin.
