You're welcome Barb. You are a very talented artist. I've always said you have "a flair for design." Your work is "signature." I can always tell when an image is yours before I see the name.

Have a great day.

PP, your comment here means so much to me. My work is heavily influenced by you & Nathan Smith. I have you & our friends on Fans to thank. A huge hug coming your way

Absolutely gorgeous. I love the surreal look and the bluish and water-like colors.

I tried Lance's glass tute on the main blue bits but it was too much of a contrast so I did a blur on a duplicated layer. Possibly Radial Deluxe? I had other elements in there but the image lacked that "don't muck with me anymore" look. Once I took out the other stuff, it said "Done!"

Thanks for your support Helen.

Chrisco, not long after I started with PDN, I created an eye by accident. Now I keep it & use it as a recurring theme. If I could remember, I'd write it up as a tute.

Thanks so much for your support

It's very pretty... The colors make happy emotions, but the picture is sad. I can't seem to find the word to describe it :/ Something like happysad instead of bittersweet maybe. I don't know

Wes, you got it

The Great Barrier Reef took a pounding from the recent natural disasters, not to mention the damage humans do. It is a happy image because the reef is so beautiful & full of so much life but the Nautilus cries because of the damage. You can see too that it is reaching out to the right - looking for our help.

Nope, not happy tears.

The Great Barrier Reef took a pounding from the recent natural disasters, not to mention the damage humans do. It is a happy image because the reef is so beautiful & full of so much life but the Nautilus cries because of the damage. You can see too that it is reaching out to the right - looking for our help.

and learn to live with nature...........

barbieq25 In reply to wingsofdragons [2011-04-13 10:40:54 +0000 UTC]

The reef will mend...there are a lot of bad things happening at the moment. Probably as you say a result of mankind not living in harmony with nature.
