just an observation, but try a different frame, it seems a little overwhelming for the sweet delicate nature of the flower.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try experimenting though I'm not sure just what I'll do...

sometimes I use the color picker in ps to sample colors within the image to use for a frame. It doesn't always work so I fall back on B&W, but you may want to try it. Here's something fun to play around with [link] may be overkill for most things, but still fun, and sometimes less is more. I agree w/you experiment & have fun doing it.

Thanks for the link! I don't use Photoshop so I can't use the files but the instructions don't seem to be very different from Paintshop Pro. I can't seem to get the hang of masks but I will keep trying as that is the idea I had in the back of my mind. I noticed some instructions for displacement masks that looks quite interesting....

sometimes we can get some inspiration from different sources. Glad it's somewhat helpful.

I wish I had the time to really learn to use it well. My camera and the software, both.

We're learning all the time. As long as you enjoy what you're doing you'll continue to learn...& have fun.

Yes, that's true. I just wish I was learning a little quicker.... But still, I compare the beginning pictures with now and I can see I learned more than I thought I had...

Me too, & sometimes I just can't remember things. But we do our best & enjoy our accomplishments even if they are simple ones.

Oh I know! Sometimes it's so long before I use something recently learned that I discover I have to learn it all over again... No matter, I still enjoy myself!

Thanks but these are standard white. I did some colorizing and some other small adjustments. I'm still not sure if I'll keep it up....
