Update: Apart from growing a full 1.2hh, Lolls hasn’t changed much physically. She’s filled out into her shoulders, barrel and especially legs, but retains that sweet, gentle look about her

Temperament: The sweetest and kindest and most gentle filly you’ll ever meet. We really don’t think she’s got the ability to swat a fly – which will be worrying in summer, but oh well. She’s very inquisitive and smart, but doesn’t seem to have a natural flair for picking things up so her training is slow. However, she has an extremely fast gallop, which is making us put her forward for barrel racing, although she has yet to learn how to control it and make herself stop. She also has some impressive stamina – like an Arab, we can’t wait to get her out in the fields for a good run

Known Ailments:
Weak hindquarters due to a weakness in her hips (tendancy to dislocate). Was diagnosed after she fell during a jumping practise with Kimber and the incedent repeated after box rest. It has been advised that she does not jump anymore, and she is given physiotherapy bi-weekly to help build up strength over the bones and joints.
This is mainly caused by her wild breeding - it is a genetic trait, and we recommend that she is only bred to horses with good conformation and no similar weaknesses. She was also very small as a filly, and we assume she did not recieve the correct type of exercise as a filly to build up strength in her tendons and ligaments.

History: Captured from Nevada with her mother, father and herd when she was barely six months old. Kalib first met her on that day and actually bid, but lost to an old man who later won the auction. The thought of the filly didn’t cross Kalib’s mind until he saw an advert in the local grocers and recognized the filly, but this was three years later. He bought her without hesitation and was delighted to see that the owner, who had unfortunately died, had taken all the wild out of her and she was the sweetest, gentlest filly he’d ever met. She was welcomed to Beaumont and made fast friends with Rubie through the fence, although Dez was less than impressed at the new horse. The team began breaking her in as soon as she was settled.
She’s settled in well and made fast friends with the other horses, and now has a constant rivalry with Rús whilst training and is Kimber’s new riding horse, since Jimmy’s getting a bit too small for her.

Since then, Kimber took Lolly on as her own, and helped Frankie re-train her as an English horse. She became very good at Show Jumping and competed in an international competition - which they won.
However, a few months after, Lolly suffered an accident during training. Her hip dislocated and she was put onto box rest for quite a while to let it heal up correctly. However, during gentle jumping a few weeks later, it happened again. Will Carr diagnosed her with weak hips and was advised not to jump her again.
Kimber then had her as a Dressage horse and plans to compete her alongside Dez internationally as the years progress.
