Love the dynamic (and difficult!) pose. I also really like the very dark shading of one of its front arms closest to the viewer. You could contine on that shading a bit more, getting some really dark areas at its torso and part of its neck possibly to make the drawing "pop" even more.

Thank you! I love twisted dynamic poses but only so often do I succeed at their representation.
And hmm. I see what you mean. Will see if I can grab a hold of the original and try it out!

Thank ye! Glad it looks that way ^^
And yes, you are correct. In Hindu mythology practically everything has a humanoid form haha. It's a sort of interchangeable term for demon so I went ahead xD

But plus points for you! I won't lie, I was impressed with your knowing about rakshasas haha!

If you're referring to Avatar, then no. I've had six limbed creatures sketched out in art books way before Avatar came out ^^

Holy crap o3o That's a freaking awesome design, and the detail you put in with the pencil is amazing C: I guess my only one concern is the length of the middle legs: the left one seems shorter than the right, but that could be the angle messing with me. XDĀ
Anyways, great job!Ā

Maybe. I was trying to imagine them by themselves, without the body, but maybe the body is hiding a bit of length X3Ā
And it's no problem at all! ^W^
