Nice. So she doesn't use a separate tender?

OH MAN THIS THING. Β This is quite possibly my favorite preserved locomotive in Poland. Β I love the 2-10-2T wheel arrangement. Β I am so glad she is back......so glad

Its amazing, as all mountain engines. Also, you will love that apparently one of those Bulgarian 12 coupled tank engines (some of which were built in Poland), is coming back to action.

Yes sir, and I also hear that their 4-10-0 tender engine, which was apparently one of the only 4-10-0 tender engines in the world (class 11) is also coming back. Β As for this 2-10-2T, I do hope they do not try to repair her when she is not broken again. Β She is beautiful

That's a wonderful photograph! What a fascinating engine, looks as if it would have a huge amount of traction.

Thank you! And yes it does. This was the point, the chassis is very similar to the one of Ty23 which were heavy goods locomotives, however the OKz was designated, and used as a passenger engine. This is to do with the force it had to exert to climb steep hills.

The grades were (are) up to 28 promiles. The highest point in Poland would be Rysy with 2499m height over sea level, but it is unrelated to the line (although its in the same region).
