Description 1:72 assembly kit by "Trumpeter" which I assembled, glued, colored and put into a nice scenery.

I tried a camo from World of Tanks for this one but it didn't turn out the way it should have... still I am satisfied with the result.

Because of the many interior details one picture just doesn't do this model justice. Be sure to take a look at the other deviation for it!

This is nice.
I got  trumpeter Dicker Max 1/35th scale as a gift. I have about 1/3 of it built.
Sure is a nice kit. Outstanding on the detail. Tough build. Thin plastic though.
I also got 72nd scale Ferdi, and an elephant made by trumpeter as well.

Some mistakes in this one but in overall excellent work on it Another world of tanks player ? O_o I dont get what is so good about it, way too unrealistic for my taste and some tanks which didnt even exist and what not :S

With the mistakes you probably refer to the missing second driver's compartment? You are right but I wasn't provided on the model. Strangely, it was shown on the pictures in the assembly guide but... it's not there...

Well World of tanks is realistic in that the vehicles themselves are pretty realistic with proper armour values and a very accurate damage system (Things like the Mahlzeitstellung on the Tiger actually works)

And all the tanks did exist in some way although some of them were only present as prototypes or blueprints. But they didn't make up any tanks.

That and the drivers hatch and some parts is a bit off but then I´m nippicking

With instant repairs systems, using Panzer III J version turret on a panzer III A chassi and tracks which is repaired in one minute and armour penetrating and HP gauge, golden ammo etc dont make it so realistic as I prefer tank games but as my brother who loves it says: It is not trying to be a simulator as I prefer them but MMO and shoting game/arcade style.
So I better stick to simulator games as panzer elite and Panzer front combat mission amongst others which make you cant buy unrealistic big guns for the tanks or change them from their historic realism

True that they were on blueprints but some I´ve seen didnt got further than that since they wouldnt had been possible to build or that they were crap Like the maus as example
P1000 ratte another one which exist on blueprint or the German aligator but they would never work in real life so to me they are fantasy tanks but fun to imagine how they could look if you play for fun

Well I have used anything that was in the kit so if something's wrong then it's the kit's fault!

I agree with the track repairs. But yeah it's more arcade than simulator so it has to be like that probably.

How can you know the Maus would have been crap? They built one prototype and they would have built several more if the factory wasn't bombed.

Ratte is not included in WoT (at the moment) just like Alligator.

Could be that yes
BTW: My late Jagdpanther: I´m thinking about repainting the front and the rof on it since the camo dont look good there, do you have an idea or reference you think make the Jagdpanther look good?

They had 2 prototypes and 1 wooden prototype and from some who worked on it and after war testings and documents with some documentaries it was not a good tank you win wars with but in one to one fight on equal terms it could defeate any tank but getting it to the battlefield or find a plain level ground with not too much terrain or rocks could be a problem xD
Here is a in depth video of why it was bad and what it was good at, could find two faults in the facts but the rest is correct:

Could be interesting to watch

I looked at your Jagdpanther and I think it can stay like that. I don't see any parts that don't look good.

Well that video is so one-sided, it could be called plain propaganda. >.>

I mean, imagine some Mäuse (german plural of Maus) in a city with high buildings and narrow streets. (just so the tank can maneuvre a bit and turn around on crossroads)

With infantry support, this would have posed a real problem because bombers can't aim well in such areas.

Okay But I changed the camo coloring and it is now a bit improved and looks more like it should.

Maybe a bit but he is neutral and say bad things about all bad tanks and some facts few knew about before not only German tanks, most of the tanks is protypes which werent put into production due to realistic reasons and some which were bad as the elephant/Ferdinand amongst others. All the facts he had there about ground preassure etc is also correct, the books about the German tanks and documents I have says the same things, Guderian disliked it as well and called it a giant waste xD But if you have facts/websites showing different about the Maus I would love to read it And not WoT facts which calls the panther for a sniper tank -.- And bad close combat fighter sigh.

I dunno about using the maus in a city, tanks is bad and weak in cities and vulnerable, a single molotov chocktail could knock it out pretty easily, a mistake the Germans did in Warsawa 1939 and in Stalingrad which also some historians talk more in detail about in the excellent tanks documentaries
But yes a Maus in a such combat scenario would be able to halt enemy advances and be costly for them if they try tot ake the city

Well the role of tanks in WoT is determined by what enemies they face. To keep it balanced, panthers and tigers don't just face shermans and t-34's, so they need to be snipers because of comparatively poor armour but good accuracy.
