Description This is an 1:76 assembly kit of the company "Revell" that I assembled, glued and painted and put into a nice scenery.

Here we got a T-34-76 medium tank. It was a revolution in the east-front part of the second world war because of it's sloped armour.

I decided to put this tank into a muddy scenery, with some small patches of snow still present - a situation like in early spring or early winter.

The kit sported a little scenery plate and even a russian infantryman that was thought to be placed on the scenery part, but I decided to put him on a seperate base.

Once again, well painted camouflage! The tank looks very plastic.
An idea how to improve the realism of the photo would be to move the bushes to the base of the tank to hide the "platform" look and merge it into the environment, a little bush for the base of the soldier could be of some use as well.

What is the box in the background made of?

The tank looks plastic... It IS plastic! Just kidding. A good suggestion with the bushes, but I wanted to make clear what is part of the model kit here, and what not. The box in the background is made of balsa wood, more precise small stirring sticks like they are given out along with coffee sometimes. The good thing about these is, that they have the correct scale to serve as genuine planks for miniatures. Thanks for the comment!

I have same T-34/M41 by Revell - the 12,7mm DShK machinegun looks weird on this type of tank, since there are no proofs it was installed like the company suggests.

Perhaps it was not the standard but got installed on single tanks?
