LOL! Not sure my daughters would let him go! He's so sweet. He's cuddly, he' purrs all of the time and loves to be held. He's pretty special!

Its at :thumb307406057: or [link] that's actually a Dali woodcut print in the frame behind him. And yep, Dali himself signed it by using his woodcut stamp... So they say! *smirk* Who knows? Buyer beware, right? Regardless I love the image.

So you... Vancouver? Go Canadians on dA! And I was saying "Go Canucks" too but they let me down... Kind of like the Leafers!

Actually, I was out in Vancouver area until a couple of years ago, when I quit my soul-sucking corporate job in IT, sold my house, and moved myself and my family out to Nova Scotia My son is borderline autistic, and had finished his post secondary education at that point, so it seemed like a good time. I was just about to turn fifty, and I thought, if I don't try to change things now, when will I ever get around to it? I'm either insane or brave... Probably insane But I got another day job working remotely back to BC on the internet, so it's all good! Now, I live by the Atlantic Ocean, and I paint most every day... An artist out of Newfoundland did a post on me a couple of days ago, it was a great surprise! I've never met the fellow, but it really made me smile! [link] I still like the Canucks, even if they choke whenever they get close to getting a Stanley cup! Call me an eternal optimist! Take care! T

Hmmm, I'm doing the "50 thing" myself this year... So in a place I never thought I'd be... Single with a brand new 30 year mortgage and 2 kids still in grade school Sometimes starting over can be foisted upon you! I'm jealous, I love both coasts and always wanted to retire to the Sunshine Coast but that's out the window now... Oh well, onwards and upwards.

More than a little jealous of you being able to paint every day. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!!!
