I've had the inks of this laying around since the season finale of Young Justice, finally decided to get at least lay some flats on it and call it done.Anyways, this was my tribute to the deaths of Wally West and Damian Wayne. Damian died in the New 52, and it was a stupid, stupid death that did him no justice. Pretty sure Morrison just killed him off so no one else could play with his brainchild. Dick (heh) move, either way.
Wally died in the finale of the second season which was such a shitty thing to do considering they cancelled the series. Wally gets lost to the speedforce, and Darkseid makes an appearance. Yeah, great job guys.
Anyways, both Damian and Wally were close with Dick Grayson, the first Robin, now Nightwing. He was Batman before the New 52 came and fucked over everyone, and Damian was his Robin. Wally is Dick's best friend. So that's who Wally is talking about in the picture.
Ironically, they got to see him a LOT sooner than they thought, seeing as how in the Injustice universe, Dick was recently killed off. By Damian, no less. I was very tempted to include another "panel" with Dick falling and landing in front of them and cracking some sort of rock pun joke and Damian would punch him and they'd all be happy buuuut my motivation kinda hightailed it, so this is what you get.

Well they just revamped the entire series and are calling it the New 52. And every decision they've made so far has been beyond stupid. Yeah, they want to bring in new fans, but they're alienating their old ones while doing so. Plus they're killing off characters for the sake of killing them off, and in the stupidest ways possible they do no justice to them. It's just frustrating as hell.
