Description Well, I'm still doodling...
I tried to draw Basket Kate and Batty Buddy in the style of Matt Groening's "Life In Hell" comics, which have always been one of my favorites. Kate came out allright, but Batty ended up looking kind of... well, I believe the technical term is "Fugly".

Haha! I love the Groening nod in this dude. It makes both look more toony for some reason but Kate looks extremely hilarious.

I was a HUGE fan on "Life In Hell" which ran (and maybe still runs) in the Chicago reader back when I worked in Chi-town before moving to Michigan. Kate looks perfectly Groening; very nice.

I actually included Ralphs older version(You know, the one that looks like the Simpsons) but he actually looked out of place... Go figure...

Well, that's easy- you forget, these two were already DESIGNED for the Jazz Jackrabbit world. Batty's my fan character and his basic design was based on the bats in Jazz 2(Which is why he doesn't look like, say, Mat or Ms. Leleb.)
My very first icon, if you remember it or ever saw it, was a sprite of Batty I made when a bunch of other Jazzers were creating hoax screenshots with our OC's kicking ass in the Jazz games.

I'll see about Jazzifying Ralphy-boy, though.

I thought Batty was based off of Bartok from Anastasia.

Personalitywise, yes. I like the wimp.
Also, personality-wise, Kate's supposed to be bugs bunnyish, but a lot of her design is based on Roger Rabbit... Also Manx Mouse.
