This picture gave me an idea for these twin characters. They were born apart but shortly after they merged with each other. Now, they can split for a moment, called a Shadow Split, which normally is an ability the allows the person the create a shadow of themselves, but since the twins share the same space, the other twin is released, allowing them to switch places each other.
