The motion on the horse and knight gives this "burst into action" feel, suddenly ripping the peaceful and silent warm spring winter bath. The naked female vulnerability and the dark armored possibly foe rider, opens to so many interpretations. Or is he our hero and she a witch bathing in freezing waters? I get lost in imagination, and this is the true essence of fantasy art.Β

Any chance you might also post a higher-resolution version of this? I can't even tell if the rider is animal-headed, or wearing a helmet or dark-ribboned bonnet, or being attacked in the face by a staghorn beetle.
That's the drawback to posting interesting art; we want to see all the details!

It's more obvious if you know that style of Kabuto. While I'm only guessing, I'd say it's of a samurai and a yuki-onna. I could be wrong though there are several women from lore, who may fit better.

Without a doubt, your greatest piece in all your gallery. Not that everything else isn't great but,
after seeing this, with the exception of two pieces (which still aren't as good as Snow), everything
