You know, I think people don't really give Ren the credit she deserves. I mean, I hate her, heart and soul, but you have to give her credit. I mean, really, how could you not go a little crazy when after having your husband love you, your daughter takes all your attention, and then your husband dies, no body tells you, and your daughter takes his place in the family? And she dosen't understand the bond (yes, I call it a bond, not a curse. Im on Akki's side.) so she would say it will break. But Ren does deserve some credit, and she is really pretty.
