I've always wanted to do this
(I made the glass thinner around the bottom on purpose.. it's not quite the exact copy of the picture but... I kind of like it better this way
it was the first picture I found on Google anyways... the other one's were either low quality or stocks for sale so...)half done home and half during school yesterday and today..
as always, the scanner ate some mid-tones... D:

I like how you can't see the start of the drop of water, the variety of bubble sizes, and how far down that single drop of water pierces. To me, it's very inspiring. And I've always been entranced by bubbles in the water.

Drawing glass and water combined is very difficult - you've done a great job capturing those fast, smooth value changes in the curve of the glass, and the proportions are pretty much perfect.
