I was on Metallica concert in Zagreb-Croatia in May this year, and on Megadeth in Ljubljana-Slovenia last tuesday and can directly compare this two bands...

Metallica has 30.000 people and Megadeth 1.000. You can gues which one was better...

Well, I can only guess.. I myself am not too much of an in-depth fan of either. I enjoy both group's music, but I'm not sure which one I actually like better.

You're lucky you get to go to all those cool concerts. I've never been to a concert.

I payed for Metallica...it was about 40 EUR + gas for a drive 100 km far and back..

And Megadeth played in a place where I'm one of outher photographers, so I have luck to get in...but this time it was extremely difficult..Concert was sold out, and ther was permission only for 6 photographers to be present...

I'm taking photos of the concert for more than 20 years now...

You have to go tho the concert...start with the local clubs..

Sold out? Gosh, that sounds fun. And you're the photographer? You must have some serious skills to get a job like that!

Haha, there are no local clubs here. I want my first show to be one for a band I actually know. I was gonna see The Who with my siblings when I was 12, but my little brother faked walking pneumonia, and so I had to stay back. D:

ISO nastavljam čim nižji, tukaj konkretno je bil ISO 400, a delam tudi z ISO vse tja do 1600 ali 3200 če ne gre drugače...vedno moraš pazit da nimaš predolgih osvetlitvenih časov, ker sicer je slika stresena oz. neostra.

Uf, tolk visoke iso vrednosti uporabljaš ... jaz si kar ne upam it čez 400 ker se vedno bojim da bo zrnata slika.
Čas imam pa tud okoli 100 ponavadi, s tem da je stabilizacija vklopljena ... Ne pridem do dovolj svetlobe drugače pri višjem F.

pogoj je da imaš čim bolj svetlobno močen objektiv.

F 2,8 ali še nižjije idealen, a sem delam tudi z F 4 - 5,6..

če ne gre drugače je pač nujno delat s skrajnimi vrednostmi. a vsaj imaš sliko.

Ja saj jaz imam F2,8 po celotni goriščnici (17-50mm), ampak pri krajinski fotografiji je f2,8 precej neuporaben ...

Vem ker je ostrina slaba in se zboljša šele tam pri 3,5, oz. 5,6... sploh če nimaš dobrega objaktiva ( L serija Canon ) imam Sigmo 24-70mm/2,8 in sem se sam prepričal... a na koncertih včasih nimaš druge izbire, če hočeš sploh kaj posnet.

Se popolnoma strinjam ja. Saj pri koncertni fotografiji se mi zdi da paše selektivno ostrenje in majhna globinska ostrina, tako da verjetno tam kaj večjega F-ja ne pogrešaš preveč...

včasih bi tudi bilo dobro, ker imaš hitro že obraz neoster če kitarista fokusiraš na roko na kitari..
