Description
Updated pic of completed chess set, details of each piece shown in earlier pics. Making all 32 castings, prepping and painting takes more time than you plan. The board is stone (marble for white and granite for black) and is made using the same tricks as a wooden board but using a wet saw. Smoothing the surface took a lot of sanding with a group of diamond pads to get to the final polish.
