This is beautiful. I LOVE the grey face. I hate the obvious, constant reminder that age is slowly creeping up on them but it makes a dog look so noble and wise. I don't know how long ago you lost your Dane but I am sorry for your loss. I have a guy who's getting up there. My Smooth Collie turned 10 in November.

This is an absolutely beautiful drawing. I wish I could do justice my cat who recently passed away...it might put her to rest in my mind, but I don't want to attempt it and ruin it.

The Varga comparison is apt: this looks like a puppy pin-up! Very good use of color. I'm glad you'll always have this to remember K'Sera by.
I like the pose: the perspective and foreshortening emphasize the long lines that a Dane's body is known for.
