At long last, something was requested from the dumps. It was only so slightly updated, not by much... It was pretty much complete at the time.This creature was more than a dream, it was an actual hallucination. One morning I turned my head to look at the floor and it was just standing there for a second, same pose. It was about 2.5 feet tall. Pretty cool!

Holy shit that story is creepy, little big-headed things are one of the few things that freak me the hell out. At least it doesn't have huge eyes. As you might guess, I find dolls creepy af. The story kind of reminds me of something I thought I saw in an old library once (I know that sounds like the start of a Lovecraftian story, but it's true).
Anyway, love the style and just, well, every damn thing about it.

First things; this was in the rare books area that we (not joking) called the X-books. By Library of Congress system that's what they started with, X. A lot of very old books. It was a creepy area, and it always felt cold in spots. Anyway, I was walking towards the exit, and I just got the heebie-jeebies for some reason, and I turned, and I saw what looked like a pair of legs walk between the aisles. Just legs. They were burned badly, or at least I got that impression. Almost like Uncle Owen/Aunt Beru after meeting Stormtroopers kinda crispy. Scared the crap out of me and I just ran out of there.
. . . Later I actually had my boss tell me there were no such things as ghosts and I just tried to play it off, but I always hated going into x-books after that.

A rare books section!? Oh man! Yer lucky! Would spend hours in there! I like to collect oddities of books myself, more obscure stuff than rare though.
And, well, you know, I see weird things like that all the time in my bedroom in the morning. Don't worry about 'em! Visions, whether or not they're actual entities, are entirely harmless, even the ones holding the butcher knives! (not joking)

I feel like I've encountered other ghosts I felt were harmless (assuming they were ghosts and not just my senses playing tricks on me), but this one always made me feel very uneasy. I wasn't the only employee to note it, either.

It weird that you described how you came up with this; I looked at this in your dumps and shuddered, saying to myself. "Man, it'd be scary if that suddenly popped up from around the corner or in front of me."

Thanks! I'm not afraid though, I wish it would happen more often. It's so brief, so i'm just left there going "whoooa! so awesome! i can draw this later! I want to see it again!"
The white feature-less but blobby and veiny thing holding a large bloody knife in the recent dump is another one of those morning creatures. Again, same reaction.
Another one that i didn't draw yet is a tiny dime sized black fuzzy spider shaped like a crab, because it had no head. Bugger was on my covers. That one actually startled me! I had to check in the folds to see is it was real or not. Hahaha! ...maybe it was.
