Bio

Emmalyn Winter is a German Mage who was an accomplished chemical engineer long before she became a mage. Her continued research into magic forms the backbone of the growing and recent phenomena known as magitech. While magitech is still in its infancy, it combines technology with magic. Alchemy allows mages to imbue normal matter and energy with mana to grant mages greater control over mana rich materials. This can both be uses in the creation of elixirs and potions to the manipulation of normal matter without it dissipating as it would using Elemental Magic.

Emmalyn however uses elements rich in mana to have her greater control over materials she uses in conjunction with traditional, albeit anachronistic technology. This is best exemplified with her Mana Engine, a back mounted machine filled with mana rich hydrogen that Emmalyn has a degree of control over that rivals Dragon Fire Dancers.

Powers, Skills, and Abilities

Master Alchemist - Emmalyn is widely considered the greatest Alchemist to ever exist. As with all Alchemists, she can imbue normal matter and energy with mana to produce a wide variety of effects. This is useful in the creation of potions and elixirs, but beyond that Emmalyn is also a chemical engineer, and using this she has begun using traditional technology to greatly enhance the capabilities of Alchemy. Emmalyn is also adept in the creation of elemental golems and flasks able to summon various facsimiles of Fae-lile creatures. Alchemists can change and rearrange the atoms of Mundane matter. Rearranging protons, neutrons, and electrons to turn elements into other elements without fear that the materials will dissipate back into raw mana.

Mana Engine - The Mana Engine is a large back mounted weapon resembling a steam engine filled with mana rich hydrogen. This Device was created by Emmalyn to control fire with impossible precision. This device is however also capable of acting as a Mages staff, further focusing Emmalyn's control over her mana rich fire.
