Khalon is on the hunt again. Tried harder to work on backgrounds this one. I felt like i had to redeem myself since i didn't like the first piece i made for the world event ;w;
Prompt:
Those that wandered out on the plains found varying levels of destruction - some noticed odd depressions in the ground, almost like enormous footprints. Others, found toppled saplings and crushed foliage. Perhaps most interested of all was the tufts of fur and feathers brought back by nervous Vespers - just the scent of it was enough to make anyone anxious. Many admitted to finding pieces of the stuff, but leaving it where it was out of alarm.
Something is definitely out on the plains - but now it's time to track it down.

Khalon is under attack! As Khalon explores the fields, seeking out signs, something emerges from the fog ahead. They seem ... odd. Fur, feathers, scaled - it's only a few feet tall, not quite as tall as a Vesper's highest point, but with nasty claws and teeth. Leaving little time to prepare, the creature throws themself into battle against Khalon.

The Creature attacks using Rend! The Creature does 10 damage, but does not do Bleeding damage.
Khalon uses Flicker! Khalon does 10 damage - nice!
Round Five:
The Creature attacks using Slam! The Creature does 7 damage.
