When one really looks at this picture, you realize how insanely tall that table is compared to Bombur. I mean, it's probably about as tall as he is. So, how.....?He most likely had one of the other dwarves help him up. But still, it's pretty crazy.
Bombur is still extremely adorable, though.

That little tidbit, I did know. What makes it better is that the first take they did was the one they used in the movie. So, the other dwarves reactions to Bombur outrunning them was real. Also, did you know, that when they were partying at Bag-end and Bofur threw the egg at Bombur and he caught it in his mouth, that was done in one take? The reactions of the others was real there too.

It's the only explanation that makes sense. If they can lift him.
