Koi Kissa likes her new box!This is my entry for Comic Page contest. We still have about 2 weeks to complete it, but as I am going on holiday tomorrow for 10 days I had to get my entry done now. D:
This features my Keiju Kissa Neapolitan [link]

and this Koi Kissa, who is a prize for the contest [link]
The theme was to create a page based around the phrase "An adoptable notices a strange new box..."
As soon as I saw the Koi Kissa, I pretty much assumed they lived in water (because of the "koi" part...) It seems that "koi" is Finnish for moth, however, so I guess I was wrong. But if you ignore that and pretend it is a fish the comic makes sense.
I hope it makes sense
This is the first comic I have ever made. safe to say i have no idea what im doing.pencil and photoshop with a watercolour texture i made added

So cute and a great idea! Plus the way you've told it and the layout / colours are fab. Its such a shame Koi kissa means moth, I really hope that doesn't affect this comics placing because of that, I think this deserves to win

Oh man this is the most adorable thing D: I love the style of this, and the soft pastel colors make everything so light and lovely <3 I adore your style and the way you put this together, the relationship between the panels as well as the expression of the characters is just so much love <33

The idea of Koi kissa being a "water" type passed my mind too, but this just takes it to the next level <3
Actually, a good friend of mine is Finnish so I don't have that confusion. XDD She'll tell me what it means whether or not I want her to.

I feel kind of stupid for not realising it was probably Finnish, because I knew that "Keiju Kissa" was Finnish. It just didn't cross my mind at all, haha. Hopefully that won't matter though... xD

This is actually the best thing ever, and WHY doesn't it have more favourites/comments? WHY?! >:C
I Read this and actually got teary, there's just something about the expressions and the discontented inaudible wailing from the characters when they lose their ball and can't play with each other at first that just tugs on my heart strings somethin' shockin.
Perfect expressions, brilliant character interaction, I love the story - You better win I swear t'gawd

Koi Kissa is Finnish for "moth cat" the way Keiju Kissa is for "faerie cat"
