OMG IT'S CLOPIN WITH MAH OC, CLOPIN IS SO HAWT AND SEXEH!!!!1111!!!Oh goodness. Please forgive me. xDDD;;; But I really do admire that character. I don't think he's 'hot' or 'sexy' at all, to tell you the truth. I'd say he's more 'charismatic' or whatever word is appropriate.
We all know how infamous Clopin fangirls are with their female OC's being paired with Clopin. But this isn't a response to counter those OC's, no matter how much I want to. This is merely art to show how much I appreciate that loony jester. Honestly, he, along with the other clowns on Topsy Turvy Day, was what sparked my adoration *coughMORELIKEOBSESSIONcough* for jesters.
BUT ENOUGH RAMBLING. I had a lot of fun drawing this out. I swear, Clopin's chip in his teeth is the hardest thing to draw. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO PREVENT IT FROM LOOKING LIKE A VAMPIRE FANG? If there is one thing I like about having OC's, I like the fact that we can poke fun at them without insulting the author or artist. However, I do it too much to poor Etahis here.

You know, when I was little Clopin absolutely terrified me. I thought he was evil because of that scene in the sewers and how he wanted to hang Quasimodo and the other guy whose name I can never remember. I even hated when I got his toy from Burger King or whatever fast food chain had the toys for the movie xD
But then last year I ended up rewatching it and it baffled me as to how I could ever hate such an awesome character. Oh the things my young mind feared xD

Here is where I'd like to point out a skill of yours that I envy with a passion. You can easily make expressions that are unique, well-done, and fitting. I'd have an incredibly difficult time drawing an expression like Etahis's. I just wouldn't know how to begin his mouth, and my version of those eyes would look a lot more cookie-cutter, flat, and therefore boring looking. Any hints, tips, or tricks you could give me for expressions?
...maybe I should do that expressions meme you did a little while ago.

Tips? On expressions? Oh, I would be an absolute terrible teacher, then. Personally with me, when I do expressions, I actually HAVE to feel the same way that the character feels when I'm drawing their expression. You can imagine how my face looks when I draw Mr. Happy. xDDD
If I want to make good expressions, I look at actual photos and see how I can draw that same expression in my own style. But my favorite method to find expressions is looking at a lot of animated movies and see how they do expressions, preferably Disney and Don Bluth, NOW THOSE ARE EXPERTS.
