Personality:

Hope is a quiet observer to things. From her birth she was raised to be kind, polite and thoughtful, everything the next head of the Morrigans clan should be. She had been raised in a sheltered environment, having servants of the household always be there to pamper her. Admittedly she's spoiled because of this, but not demanding way. Hope just expects everyone to know better, or have the same level of etiquette she was raised on. Hope is mild in personality, and when confronted is too timid to stand up for herself, relying on her over protective family to stick up for her.

On the other hand Hope is insightful on reading people's emotions, or seeing things from another perspective. She's really open minded and isn't quick to judge anything of anyone. She is happiest when her friends are hapopy and has the drive to please everyone. Hope is also really gullible and ditzy, a fact that has been exploited by enemies of her family several times in the past.

History:
Hope's grandmother give birth to twin boys that would later become Faith's father and her own father. Because of this the two had been dragged into a succession war to see who would become the next 'head' of the family, inheriting the family business and power in the process. At first it was decided when her uncle was first to produce a successful male heir in Howard. Hope was born three years after that when her father married the woman of his dreams Angelique.

Hope and Howard were both raised in the family complex together where they would often play together in the gardens. Howard was the perfect gentleman to her, and became her ideal prince charming figure in her life. He always gave her piggy back rides, told her stories, picked flowers for her and made good conversation with her when they had tea together in between their classes. One tragic day when she and her mother were leaving the house for school and work, their driver noticed their car had been sabotaged. Hope and her mother got into an accident on the road that killed the driver, her mother, and the passenger of another car. Hope was stuck in the burning wreckage of the car, getting severe burns in the process. Hope blacked out before she was rescued.

When Hope woke up in the hospital her vision was getting foggy, and her father informed her she was slowly going blind. Howard was also gone...as if he were a figment of her imagination. Hope was stuck recovering in the hospital looking out the window. Her favourite sight was the sunset, how the clouds turned pink as the sun went to sleep. It was the last thing she saw before she woke up without her sight, so pink became her favourite colour. After that her father became overprotective of her and wouldn't let her out of the family complex for a while since she was the last thing he had of his late wife.

Meeting her Digimon:
Hope was taking a nap under a big apple tree in her back yard when she heard crying. She found the source of it in her favourite apple tree and asked the stranger what was wrong. The voice got angry and told her it wasn't even crying and asked her if she was blind. "Of course I'm blind, can't you tell by my cane?" Hope replied with a smile on her face. She could tell whoever she was talking to was embarrassed. The voice told her he was crying because no one else could see or hear him, and he was hungry. Hope told him if he would help her pick some apples then she would take them to someone who could make food him. She was surprised to find that no one else could see him, but everyone in the house was used to her spaciness and dismissed the voice as an imaginary friend. Hope asked the voice if he was a ghost or a fairy or a borrower. He told her he was none of the above. His name was Inklingmon and he was a digimon of dreams. He was stranded in the human world and got separated from his friends. "So you're an alien? Are you sure it's safe to eat human food?" Hope promised she'll do what she could to get him home, Inklingmon relieved and happy he found something to believe in managed to digivolve into Jestimon, forming the shard of hope and making her his partner.

Digimon History
Hubert (Hugh) is from the Echo Server , a branch off from the main digital world the 8 original leaders explored in their childhood. His egg was stolen from primary village when the guardian that day abandoned her post to go on a date. As soon as he hatched, the infant was subjected to horrible tests designed to break his mind and spirit. When he fell into absolute despair, the mad scientist that kidnapped him implanted a parasitic program into him known as a Virus Core. The program altered his data permanently as it took over his mind, diverting him from his usual vaccine evolution line and into a corrupted path: Inklingmon, a digimon of nightmares created to wage psychological terror, and to brainwash other digimon into willingly bowing to Datamon. It was through one of these fights where his data was damaged, and was hastily patched over. It was then he saw a bright yellow light that knocked him out, and he woke up lost in the human world.

Personality:
Hugh is not a friendly digimon. In terms of pure bloodlust he would give Lapis a run for his money. He is all talk though and doesn't have the brawn to back it up. Hugh can hold grudges though, and likes to haunt people's dreams as a hobby. An interesting flaw of his species is that not every human is able to see him unless they have an open mind. This has made his experience getting lost in the human world a scary one where he started to question his existence when a sea of people didn't react to him.
It is because of this he is fiercely attached to his tamer who can 'see' him.

Evolutions:

Hugh's vaccine counterpart was made up of data that was used to program screensavers. They functioned essentially as the sandmen to digimon, putting other in the digital world to sleep so they could recover. Since Hugh is the inverst of that, he is a digimon of nightmares and his evolution is based on things that people might find scary or would appear in a nightmare.

Inklingmon: a digimon that is a ghost hiding behind a mask. There is a fear of the unknown since the mask hides his identity, and a lack of stability since the mask changed faces every time he has a mood swing.

Jestimon: A deranged clown that melts into shadows. Jestimon has a lot of magic tricks up his sleeves, from teleporting to levitation. He usually holds this form and hides in Hope's shadow as she travels anywhere. He'll come out when she needs him.

Slendermon: He is that shadow out of the corner of your eye, the one you know is there but you don't want to look in case it gets worst. Hugh is a dapper gentleman, preferring not to speak since it would tear his stitches if he even laughs at how pathetic you are. He can cast an illusion to drag you into his world, making you wander around in circles for eternity.

Voodomon: Here he embodies the fear of loosing control. He takes control of your will to make you flop around like a lifeless doll. His grand finale involves burning himself to ashes while you scream in pain while he giggles like a giddy school girl. He'll even give you a hug while he's on fire to comfort you

Pestilencemon: this is the fear of sickness inspired by the four horsemen. Here he is like Hope's dark knight, spreading rot and disease to wither the world around him while he rides away into the night.
