Image created using masking techniques I'm learning in Janet Parke's masking course.

Used Pixel, Orbit Traps and S.F.B.M. Pixel formulas and also applied Turbulence mapping to achieve marbled look.

Thanks...I tend to lean more towards the 3d look rather than the flat, painterly look. Glad you like it.

I love your choice of colors... doesn't look like much from the thumbnail, but there's amazing detail full-view! And so pleasing to the eye.... Especially love those black lines that trace out the contours (whatever they are). excellent.

Wow really nice I like how you can see through to the background images. I am assuming that this is because of the masking?

Thank you . And yes, the masking is what allows the shape to become seperate from the background and also to apply a texture to the shape only.
