#20 - Colorless. I have been feeling like a bit of a Photoshop snob of late, and I really do like to just draw sometimes without thinking "Ok, now how am I going to jazz this up with Photoshop?" So I looked around my art supplies and found out that I had a charcoal pencil and a graphite stick I had never used! Hot diggity damn and Holy Carp too! So I decided to draw profiles (because I don't feel confident with profiles and need to practice
) of Hitsu and Hyourinmaru (whom I have never drawn!). They are both reference-tastic! But my reference for Hyourinmaru was about and inch and a half square. It was great. So anyway, yeah, this is what all my drawings usually look like before I take them to Photoshop and work my magic. That's right, sloppy with lots of mistakes! 
But I refuse to put this in scraps, because I like it's sketchy sloppiness damnit! And no, I will not be taking this to Photoshop to have magic worked upon it, EVER!!!

I just love the look of pencil sketches and drawings. They kind of show the fluidity of the act of drawing, as opposed to the precise work in photoshop. This is a cool drawing! Hitsu looks so intense too!!

Sometimes, having black and white drawings are better than colored ones, but the cases are reare, though.

Great job. What I see that I think is important with profiles is that it doesn't look forced in the pic. It works well with the composition.

And I love his expression. I just keep staring at him. The knitted brow... the mouth slightly open... a look of intense concentration... Where are they? What are they doing? We don't know exactly, but it's something serious.

He is the physical manifestation of Hitsugaya's sword, like it's personally. He's a giant dragon made of ice. Hitsu can control the weather when he's really pissed! I don't think he'd be much help cleaning, as he'd be so big he's probably rip the building appart. I love the idea of him nagging Hitsu from the doorway

You know, he doesn't really need a nostril. It's one of those details that your mind just sort of fills in on its own. This is clearly a face. And faces have nostrils riiiiight... THERE. So it SEEMS like it's there, you know it's there, it's just not marked.

Mm-hmm. I've heard of those puzzles. Puddles, I mean, although puzzles can be hazardous when swallowed--or may cause brain implosion when all completed only to find that there's a piece missing. But those puddles--one attacked my sister. Yep. I have--well, HAD--a sister. Before the whole "puddle" incident. I don't like to talk about it much... It's very tragic.
