Now a days I try not to replicate reference pictures exactly, but rather use them to help me get things right as I draw a different pose or something, but I was skimming the FMA manga (by the way, I have only seen the anime and I am horribly confused) and this image jumped out at me and I HAD to draw it. So I used it as inking practice (and as an excuse to not study for finals!), and I am pleased. I screwed up the gun, but it's not really the point of the pic. Anyway, I won't tell you what's going on here; I will only say that this scene does not happen in the anime. Silly me, trying to convince my friend that FMA isn't too angsty for her to stand, then I go and draw this. Poor Hawkeye.Drawn with mechanical pencil, inked, cleaned up in Adobe PS 7

haven't seen the anime, but as if they didn't do this scene... it's just screaming to be animated...

What they did with the anime is around Hughes' death the anime caught up with the manga, and instead of doing stupid filler episodes, they came up with an ending for the anime, and the manga went a different direction. So half the anime follows the manga, then the other half of the anime and the manga are like different stories. I would recomend both, because the anime is amazing! I really need to catch up on the manga... I'm WAY behind.

I loved that chapter, and the one before it so much! Man after those chapters things really started getting good and angsty in certain spots. Man, I loved those chapters. X3 Hee hee, I'm a close follower of the manga, started reading the manga before the anime.

Thanks, I'd glad you like it. I have been meaning to read the manga, but what with finals I have only read though chapter...15ish? I have through 40 on my computer at school, so after the break I can catch up. Though I couldn't resist taking a little peek ahead

Havoc's alive, although the bottom half of his body is paralyzied, and he can no longer move his lower body, not even with automail because the nerves were cut off by Lust.
And so Havoc retired, and there was this looooong yelling match where Havoc screamed at Roy to just let it go and let him retire and leave him behind and stuff like that, because Roy said his eyes made it seem like he really was regretting what he was doing, even if he said he wasn't. Eventually Roy says that he will leave Havoc behind, but he will be expecting him to catch up with him on the road ahead.

Yeah, when I was skimming I saw that he was paralyzied and I was like "WTF?!?! Not Havoc! NOOOOOOOO!" and the like. I then went backwards to find out what the hell happened and that's were I found the pic of Riza. Damn. So we don't know yet if he'll be ok?!?!

Nope, we dun kno yet. Currently there's this big fight with Edo-kun and Scar. 'cause in the manga, y'know how in the anime, Roy killed Winry's parents, in the manga...>.> it's scar, so Edo-kun is like pissed at Scar, because there's enough proof for it to be Scar. (since all he got was like info. on what the killer looked like)

It's in Volume 10 of the manga, and since I was just skimming though I'm not completely sure (I also said I wouldnβt give away whatβs happening, but what the hell). To make a long story sort Riza is under the impression that Lust killed Roy. As you can see, she is quite distraught.
